260714 - A Small Journey Backwards

Sometimes the theatre train keeps moving.

A chapter is written, the next one calls, and before you know it, there's another weekend and another pair of girls waiting backstage. Every now and then, an illustration simply can't keep up with the rhythm.

So, for the next few weeks, we're going back a little.

From 14 July until 31 August, I'll be gradually backfilling illustrations for earlier chapters of Hell's Theatre, beginning around Chapter 77 and aiming toward the 11X range. The plan is simple: a few sessions each week where I reread older chapters, find a pair that feels right, create up to two illustrations, and finally let them return to the stage where they always belonged.

It isn't a rewrite, and it isn't a remaster.

It's simply giving a few older performances the curtain call they never quite received.

If you're following along through Patreon or the website, you'll occasionally see these older chapters come alive with new artwork as we revisit them. I always thought that a webnovel feels a little warmer when each chapter has a picture waiting inside.
