but in the end, when it comes right down to the line, nobody can guard against...

"With this, it all comes down to luck now! Contestant Minara has a 46.7% of hitting a flinch on ANY of GOJIRAAAAA'S Pxkemxn!" Mistrál shouts into the microphone!
"What a dastardly, devious and treacherous strategy that Minara is using tonight! SURELY nobody else will be counting on Rock Sliding to the finals tonight!" House practically leaps onto the announce desk, incensed by this show of injustice! "GOJIRAAAAA, don't lose to this cheap trick!!"
As the rocks begin to fall,
GOJIRAAAA-Hikari points upwards into the heavens!
With a great cry, Vamos Bravo the Staraptor flies straight up with great speed, turning into a glittering golden shadow!
She braves the falling rocks crashing onto her feathered body, reaching the apex of her flight!
Then, a rapid descent, aiming straight for...!
"She shook it off! Vamos Bravo toughed out the effects of the Rock Slide!"
... the glimmering wing connects!
But onto the wrong mon'!
It connects...
... Onto the opponent's Kingambit!
Yet another gasp rings out through the underground stadium!
Just moments before the impact, the red glow of a pxkemxn being returned to its ball had flashed across the field...
Bringing Mega Gengar back to safety...!
Too late, Vamos Bravo!
Minara's hand had already unlatched another pxkeball!
The incoming figure takes the full brunt of the flying blow instead!
At the very last moment, Minara had swapped out her Mega Gengar for her own Kingambit!
The unfriendly Kingambit takes the strong hit from Vamos Bravo, nearly parrying it with its tiny golden hand! The golden gust rushes by Minara's Kingambit, threatening to bowl it over... but it stands strong!
"And the very last pxkemon for Minara... Is her own Kingambit!"
"It turns out that Vamos Bravo cannot crack Kingambit's ironclad defenses after all! I--- look over there!"
On the other side of the field, the other Kingambit had moved!
King, adorned with those lucky black sunglasses had lodged its own rounded hand onto the scary-looking dragon, delivering a devastating blow at close quarters! It, too, had braved through the rock slide, and is now pushing itself up against Garchomp's rough, scaly skin!
That punch took a good chunk out of Garchomp, whose irises narrowed into a swirly mess...
And yet...!
"Still standing! I can't believe it! Garchomp took a Sucker Punch straight to the gut, and it is STILL STANDING!"
It was not Mistrál, who announced that last line, but House!
The heart of a scary dragon who refuses to fall over!
It stands strong and upright, even after taking what should be a fatal blow!
"...!"
Even GOJIRAAAA is shocked by the tenacity of her close draconic relative!
Still, she does not hesitate for a single beat!
Spinning around on the spot on one claw, she makes a seventy-five degree swishing motion with a clawed flipper---
"Vamos Bravo, about turn!!"
The Staraptor who had shot right past the newly debuted Kingambit receives word to close the match, and flies straight for the injured Garchomp!
"Oh no you don't! Garchomp, use Rock Slide again!"
The same trick can be used again!
If the first Rock Slide doesn't flinch,
simply press Rock Slide until it does!
Once again, heavy stones form above the battle court, threatening to land onto the battered Vamos Bravo!
Flying at mach speed, the big bird ducks and weaves through the rocks, reaching right in front of the villain's Garchomp...
... only to be met with a small, rounded, golden hand!
Sucker Punch!
Minara's Kingambit knows Sucker Punch as well!
Taking advantage of the confusion, Minara's own Kingambit takes a cheap shot at the charging Staraptor!
It leaps from the ground, giving the in-flight Staraptor a good punch!
Fall!
Fall!!
Having taken so much damage, there's no way that Vamos Bravo should still be flying!
The unfriendly shogun's unexpected uppercut is the one thing preventing GOJIRAAAAA from winning the match on the spot!
Its steely determination to see Minara through the match manifests in this one single strike!
Vamos Bravo's wingbeats slow greatly...!
Then...!
The final figure in this fight leaps through the air from sitting a position!
One golden hand holding onto its sunglasses, it harnesses its momentum for a do-or-die move...
Horah!
Low Kick!
When the two identical heavyweights connect in mid-air, King's fighting fury blasts her cousin away with a single clean hit!
"Kingambit!" Minara shouts out in shock!
The audience gasps as well at the unexpected turn of events!
As the announcers shout over the confusion,
King's fighting spirit invigorates its partner...
and Vamos Bravo's wings begin beating at rapid speed once more...!
A loud screech can be heard throughout the stadium!
Then, a flurry of wing-strikes and talons!
This time, bringing the match to its final conclusion!
