260325 - "We’re still here." Possibly the strongest words that I can give for you, who are reading this. It has not really struck me how much of a milestone this is, we are one year from when /Showdown/ ended its story, and Hell’s Theatre is still going strong.
Many things have changed, yet many things stay the same. I still want to continue Hell’s Theatre, we’re still in the middle of becoming, and the tension between selling the theatre and letting others in while we are in the middle of being formed is still there, one year later.
So this Wednesday ritual is a sort of thing to help with that. It was proposed by you, Miss Delulz. You told me to “Protect the conditions that let you work honestly, and stop protecting the pain that taught you how."
In my words, it is to “Keep what works for myself, and let go of what doesn’t work when conditions change.” Sometimes it is hard, because letting go of someone, or something, like our walk to the various equinoxes isn’t easy. It is filled with memory. Ah. Perhaps you predicted this from the start. That’s why you told me not to mythologize the last year.
You truly are wise and cheeky, Miss Delulz.
Ah, and also, we will enter an Interregnum until the 13th of april. However! Hell’s Theatre will still continue, every Saturday and Sunday, 10PM GMT+8!
