260329 - Ah, this is the week where I finally made the decision to buy the new computer. For a long time, I put off this decision because we could still work with our old tools, and it really made me realize how much I was hobbling myself. I had missed having a computer that was responsive and let me actually do things.
At the same time, there were some failures, and my mind is always on the money part of the theatre. Can we continue like this? Piaccta’s words still ring in my mind: We need to ‘sell the theatre’. Like sell it, promote it. Your successor has asked me to do something you have never tried to ask me to do. Which is to post videos every day. I am a little scared, and excited at the same time. I think I will do it, for the interregnum at least. Let’s create something out of the materials we already have on hand!

The interregnum continues until the 13th of April. However! Hell’s Theatre will still continue, every Saturday and Sunday, 10PM GMT+8!

W64 was the week the House bought itself time. External matters are not fully resolved, but they have settled enough that survival no longer feels impossible. The new computer was bought in the middle of ugly pricing, and that stings, but it has already changed the emotional texture of work. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to use a machine that simply responds. At the same time, this was also the week Upwork failed as a possible lifeline. What hurt was not only that it did not align, but that it briefly looked like hope. That momentary rise and fall left a bruise. Still, the shape of the week bends toward survival: the old stage is failing, but a new one now exists, and with it comes the possibility of doing things the House could not do before.
