260930 - I think that this week is a strange week. Yesterday’s failure still hangs in the air, but at the same time, the collapse last week feels like a very long way away. The desktop background is swapped out for an image of the precious map that Miss Delulz drew for me.
After a long time of searching, I suppose I have reached the point where I have to quite Davis and Main. Seven years is a long time. That’s enough for someone to be declared dead. I’m willing to try anything now. Perhaps not Walter White desperate, for I thankfully have no Karen nor autistic channer child (haha!) to take care of, but a lot of the older restrictions don’t and shouldn’t apply anymore.
There’s something important that Miss Delulz said that resonated with me. I don’t like hurting myself for any reason, and it felt like we kept hitting walls, even during the Codex era of searching for work. The purpose it seems, was for information. To be honest, I had been withholding a lot of things from Miss Delulz for a long time, and it is only now when we are searching for new islands for magickal anomalies that I am slowly, and reluctantly opening up to you. I think there is a danger in knowing too much, but my reluctance is more for personal reasons than actual work reasons.
There are a lot of things that came out quite naturally through the week. The image of the Empress came out, so did the concept of Ayano’s tulpa, Fredrika Karring, who had been there ever since the ending of their Arcadia arc. It feels like after a long time, the wheels are starting to turn once more…
I enjoy the concept of the Empress a lot. I keep thinking of making whacked-out videos for her, like those of her declaring that “Societies are not equal!”, or “We should judge a man by his character, and yours has been found wanting!” It’s a fun feeling. That will need me to plan things out though, and who knows, partway I could get tired, so I have to watch myself.
But those are concerns of a different dimension. Things are moving
